friday letter
why do we feel so late in life?
As you might have noticed I disappeared, probably many of the people who followed me gave up as well.
I am back on here because I love writing, but I feel like I have to do it, even when Iβm tired or simply donβt have inspiration.
While I was working I used to come home and lay on my bed without doing anything, slowly losing my creativity.
Now that Iβm not working I am doing the same exact thing, but I donβt even have an excuse for my laziness. It makes me feel guilty being unable to do the thing I love most, writing.
I have started a tiktok account, posting on pinterest, reading more, doing little diys, all to keep me busy and productive. But the satisfaction is always missing.
I am yet to find a solution to this lifestyle. In the meantime Iβll keep myself busy, but when does it end?
Several times I have opened this app and started typing, but nothing great came out, I even had an idea for a book (would have been a great thriller), but how do I find the will and the strenght.
Maybe stopping doomscrolling is enough of a solution, or maybe I have to start working again to feel motivated. I have no idea what to do.
The worst part of it all, which is what pushed me to post this article, is that I feel so behind in life for something that is supposed to be normal. No one has their life figured out at 19, yet I keep hoping that solutions will fall from the sky.
It is normal to be lost in your twenties, it is normal to feel lost as well. A solution will come when most needed, thatβs what I like to tell myself.
I will keep trying to figure myself out.

hun, i'll be 27 this year, so please let me tell you that the solution is you. you simply must decide to write and then write. creativity comes and goes, but you are ever present. as for life, the answer is the same, the solution is you. but that's never entirely figured out. you just go with it, do what you can, and love as much as possible. you've got this<3
